Camryn Lewis is a writer and filmmaker living in Chicago, Illinois. Born and raised in Danville, Virginia, Lewis began writing and making films at the age of twenty while attending Danville Community College. After two years of writing and making films, Lewis raised $11,111 through GoFundMe during the summer of 2021 to transfer and attend Columbia College Chicago for one year. Lewis has since worked as a production assistant, cinematographer and grip on short films, independent feature films and documentaries. Lewis has also worked and taught at the School of Creative and Performing Arts in Burlington, Vermont, and attended the 2022 Telluride Film Festival as part of its Student Symposium. After three years, a closet full of short films and several feature length screenplays, Lewis is currently writing his debut feature-length screenplay and is in production for his next short film.
